In the Adria Ankaran resort there is a newly renovated playground, with a sandbox and a large big toy in the shape of a ship next to it. On the beach, there are showers and changing cabins, in the nearby restaurant there are sanitary facilities.
The shade of pine trees offers a pleasant shelter from the sun. There are also sun loungers and deck chairs at guests' disposal.
It is well provided for sport and recreation, too. There are beach volleyball courts, mini golf, table tennis and tennis courts. There is a possibility of ren-t a electric skiro, two station for electric bikes filling and a beach volley camp. In summer, there is also a water park with water sports equipment (pedal boats, scooters, surf and sup boards ...). A bike rental location is in Vila Andor ( four electric bikes ). Within the resort Adria there are also two outdoor swimming pools – Olympic and children – available also for outside guests. At Adria Ankaran resort baby-changing facilities are provided, too.
At Villa Andor and at Youth and Health resort (YHR) Debeli rtič, there are also baby-changing facilities. At YHR Debeli Rtič visitors can walk around the Mediterranean park, there are also a football field with artificial grass, beach volleyball court, basketball court, outdoor playgrounds with big toys, kayak and sup board rental and an outdoor pool. Included in the Centre of wellbeing is an indoor swimming pool for the youngest, where animation program is provided.
Adria Hotel offers great holidays, full of experiences for the whole family. The children will be entertained by animation program in the hotel and campsite, riding on a nearby farm (by arrangement), boat excursions and sports activities. YHR Debeli rtič offers programs for kindergartens and elementary schools and animation program for their guests.
Children can also play in the playgrounds in centre of the city, at the kindergarten Ankaran and near the M. Hrvatin Street.
As a family-friendly destination, we offer many fun and educational activities for children and their parents. We organize a series of workshops, puppet and theater performances, concerts, etc., along with the events of festivals Summer in Ankaran and December in Ankaran, and in cooperation with local sports and cultural societies.
