From 22 May to 7 June 2026, Slovenian Istria will once again host the popular gastronomic event Squid Days, bringing together hospitality providers from Ankaran, Koper, Izola and Piran.

Visitors will be able to enjoy a wide variety of squid dishes in selected restaurants – from beloved classic recipes to contemporary culinary creations inspired by Mediterranean flavours. The event offers an excellent opportunity to explore the rich gastronomic offer of Slovenian Istria and discover the diverse culinary character of its coastal towns.

Squid Days invite both locals and visitors to enjoy relaxed moments over excellent food and experience seafood cuisine in a special way. Whether you are planning a weekend getaway, a seaside lunch, or a pleasant dinner in a welcoming atmosphere, the event promises something for every lover of seafood flavours.
