KOKOSY

Kokosy features Boris Kokalj, Martin Drobnič, Anže Lajevec, and Izidor Valič. They are a four-dimensional, predominantly musical entity that, since 2019, with a great deal of authenticity, humor, and vulnerability, has been bringing a fresh breeze to the Slovenian music scene.  Their music is genre-defying — as if indie, pop, jazz, funk, punk, and soft rock all gathered at the same party and had an amazing time.  

With sincere lyrics, curious arrangements, and infectious energy, they have developed a recognizable musical expression that doesn't take itself too seriously but is impossible to ignore.  Their latest album, Čustveni vrtiljak (Emotional Carousel), marks a new creative chapter — a youthful band adolescence that they passionately and confidently showcase at concerts across Slovenia and abroad.  As Izidor's mother puts it: "This band of yours isn't even that bad, right?"
